This extension indicates for your customers how many pieces of an item are currently available. In case that someone orders a larger quantity of items than is available.

The customers gets an information that the missing quantity will be reordered. In this way the standard indication "***" in the shopping cart is replaced through this above mentioned information,  which makes it more clearly for the customer.
